Sweet pic! One of these days I'll have to learn how to do image stacking. I've seen some truly magnificent pictures created using that method.

When your stacking, do you focus manually or with software/hardware?

Hi!

Great photo! I have been playing with photostacking myself lately. I had some technical challenges to overcome, but I’m getting some good results now. It's not simple to achieve this sort of picture, so congratulations!

Like I said, this is a great photo but if you don't mind me saying, it would look much better with a different background. The bright colours distract attention away from the insect. Worst still, the bright colour of the critter is lost in the background. If you used a dark green or blue background the velvet ant would really stand out!
