So one of my violins mismolted 3 weeks ago and lost two legs. For the first 2 weeks he was perching and hanging just fine. He (i think it’s a he) recently started falling and struggling a lot.

The other violins in the enclosure have had a few molts and no problems.

I was considering putting Bipod in a separate enclosure but then realized i don’t have another cme.

I hand fed him a prekilled roach today which he ate with gusto.

In 3 weeks I’ll be going out of town for 2 weeks and have someone checking on my inverts but i don’t expect them to hand feed this guy.

Any tips or ideas are appreciated.

Take him with you 😊
Agreed. If he doesn't molt or die by the time you leave, take him with you along with some prey, assuming its possible for you to do that.

I would say the same: take him with you?

Next week I go camping and take Ghosty with me too because I don't think my mantis sitter will handfeed him.

Going out of the country for a spearfishing trip. Not sure if i can sneak him but I’ll give it some thought.
