Whooohoo!! I put them together in one of Hibiscus's large nymph containers. They started on opposite sides. I was so nervous for the boy because he's 1/3 smaller than her. I did feed her crickets until she just started ignoring them. I think she tried to make an ooth because their is a trail of brown substance on the lid of her container. That's when I figured she must be ready. They are Acromantis Formosana
So, there they are.. opposite side of the bucket/container. Being a guy... I figured he would be approaching her and trying to jump on it like those perverts on the dance floors at night clubs. Nope, she approached him which made me way more scared for him! Well, then I nearly popped the container open because she kept throwing her raptor arms at him and it looked like an attack but I thought "if she wants to eat him, she'll do more than just swat at him". So, she inched closer and closer.. tapping her hind leg on the lid of the container. Was she prowling for the kill or purring for some love?
That's when it happened!
He suddenly took off running for her backside. At first, he was facing the wrong way lol, but he stuck his face near her butt, realized he had it wrong, turned around, climbed up on her back and he's been there for 10 minutes now. She slowly moves her raptor arms all funny-like and sometimes they both shake/vibrate lol. Totally hot! I'm watching them all day.
Should I wait an hour and force him off of her? What should I do? Just let them go? I'm not too scared of loosing him, I have 2 other adult males and the one who's all up on the booty too.
