i thought both my male and female were subs but the male turned adult 4 days ago and the female turned to sub adult last night , will he still be alive for her to breed with? how long will a male last after becoming adult , how long does it take for a female to turn from sub to adult ????? and if i have no chance of them mating who has got a male orchid that is a fresh sub-adult or very close to sub adult

Yes.My males hit adult when my females where pre sub adult.6 weeks on my females are adult and my males are still healthy.

i dont get what you mean? what instar are they and how much are they each?

He means they are 4th/5th instar and £30 a pair including shipping.
