Hey All,
I'm going to be doing a series of presentations to some very young kids (3 through 5 year olds) at some local day care/nursery schools during the "week of the young child." I did this last year with my CP's and mantids....and it was great! Tiring, but great.
But last year I had several different mantids to show off....this year I have ONE. Pretty shabby. So, I do have a very nice, healthy S. pretiosa (I've been inactive in the hobby for long enough to forget the "correct" name), but I would like to have at least three or four other different kinds to show off.
So if anyone has one or two of any given species they'd be willing to part with, I'm happy to purchase (and remember....this isn't for me, it's for the children.....I wonder if any of you buy that?) whatever you have just hanging around. I would like to get a small diversity of appearances/sizes...so any offers welcome.
I'm only comfortable buying from within the continental US (I'm in NY).
My presentation is in the middle of April...just for reference with shipping and all that.
