Wax Moths feeding?

I am hatching some Wax Moth pupae as a treat for our S. Californicas. Once they hatch, do we feed them anything first or just feed them straight up?

From what I know, ( which is very little ) they do not eat, the moth worm eats for the moth! Just feed them to the mantis, that is what i do, I have them in their container and every day about a dozen hatch, not all get one, but some lucky mantis! does!

I've had them escape and get all over my kitchen...but when I tried to put them back in the container...they wouldn't eat anything I put in there.

Hi, I was thinking about raising some waxworms/moths myself awhile back and found this link. I havent actually got around to it though so cant say much from personal experience. To many projects, to little time lol. I hope it helps and goodluck!
