what are the big mantises

Hi new2this forum, can you guys tell me what R the big mantises that are in the pet trade, and is there any monster species discovered but not in the trade yet, thanks.

Welcome! The asians are about the biggest regulary in the hobby.

Hierodula sp., Rhombodera sp., Sphodromantis sp., and Heterochaeta are all large species in the pet trade, but the Heterochaeta are a bit hard to obtain.

a bit hard is an understatement xD there is also the mega mantis (Plistospilota guineensis) but there are many. And sorry if this seems rude, but can you use words completely? As replacing them with numbers and letters makes it harder to read.

Rhombodera and hierodula are pretty big and in hobby. A large genus not in hobby is macromantis

Double shields mantids, Chinese mantids and Giant flower devil mantids are some.

Hierodula Majascula are one of the biggest and heavy. Another is Medioconstricta, the double shield. Massive and heavy are good descriptions for them. They are amazing to me, they stay where I put them, they dont wander!
