Brunneria borealis Brunner's mantis

Thesprotia graminis Grass-like mantis

Oligonicella scudderi Scudder's mantis

These three species are slim, stick-like mantids that can be found in Texas. Your photo isn't clear enough for me to to tell which species you have though.

Looks like some kind of grass mantid. Not sure of the exact species. It would help if you could get a better pic

 
My guess would be grass mantis as well. Thesprotia graminis. from the short antenna it shou;d be a female. Adult female has no wing. Attached are few adult female pics I used to keep a while ago.
