Great video! :D I love when they do that.

What the adult females are doing, is pointing their abdomens down and touching them to the surface they are on.

It reminds me of how spiders will touch their bottoms to things when they put their web line on stuff.

Maybe they r tryin to take a poo in style, some of mine move their abdomen to the left to ######, others to the right, my popa curls hers up even as an adult

Maybe yours figure 'hey, we haven't tried this way'

If they r fat and well fed they may be calling, they can mature pretty quickly

@ agent A, They are not defacating. Lol.

There has to be a purpose for the behavior. :shifty: I just haven't figured it out yet, and thought someone might know or have some theory on it.

OK resurrecting this thread ... what does it look like when a female is calling? She molted to adult 3 days ago and she is waving her butt around and doing this tapping thing (and eating like an even bigger pig than before..) and doing this tapping behavior. I understand Creos mature pretty quickly after a molt?

Edit: Just searched and found the what does calling look like thread, so I got that. How quick after reaching adulthood is a C. picti ready? I may go find that too haha
