I got my two ghosts not very long ago, so naturally I've been considering my next mantis since then. How are Blepharopsis mendica and Hymenopus coronatus in terms of personality, feeding aggression, care, and stuff like that? I really like flower/orchid mantises, and these two are some of my favorites out of that group. I also want a mantis that's an aggressive feeder, and I wanted to see if B. mendica and H. coronatus fit the bill.

H.coronatus are very aggressive feeders 2nd instars take green bottle flies. Room temp is find mist everyday/ every other day. No real moulting issues. Only time they become hard to keep is when your breeding them. Females are a nightmare at laying ootheca.

Sounds good to me! I think I might get an orchid mantis. They're just gorgeous. How big do they get?
