Hey all,

Not really a new member here—but hey, its been a while. I have been super busy with school lately and I'm trying to remember, but I think I have not kept anything for almost two years  . Anyways, whats new over here?

Cheers,

Gripen

Hi. I can't think of anything new. Except that there has been a lot of reordering of mantis species into different subfamilies and things like that:

Galinthiadidae

Sibylla pretiosa is in Hymenopodidae now (http://mantodea.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1185107)

Parymenopus davisoni is Helvia cardinalis (http://mantidforum.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=36522&hl=cardinalis)

Pseudempusa pinnapavonis is in Deroplatyini (http://mantodea.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1183738)

Rhombodera fusca is now in new Rhombomantis genus (http://mantodea.speciesfile.org/Common/basic/Taxa.aspx?TaxonNameID=1223021)

Liturgusa sp. found living in Florida:

Welcome back. I haven't kept mantids full time for years now so that's no excuse for not coming here!
