Hi everybody!

I just was wondering what everybody's favorite mantis is.

Mine is a european which seems weird considering there are all the exotics around. But the reason is that my first mantis was a european and I just like the classic mantis look.

But I also LOVE exotics like hymenopus and idolomantis.

HungryGhost. shield mantids are super cool. but I think I like choeradodis rhomboidea mot than rhombodera stalli. But they are still super cool. Idolomorphas are also awesome.

Ya but choeradodis isn't in culture and is completely different.

So far the rhombodera stalii are up there for me.
Yea rhombodera stalii are my favourite also.

choeradodis rhomboidea are a little too roach looking for me

I got 4 from 1 female! I also had another female but I gave her ooths to my neighbors for their garden.

Definitely ghosts. :) They are so cute and have such personalities. But there are so many great species out there! I also like Iris oratoria. They are so spunky!

I'm quite fond of Blepharopsis mendica and Cilnia humeralis.

They don't need to be kept humid and they're quite hardy if not kept in an environment with a lot of moisture. They also have great appetites and live for a good while.
