Where to get mantids?

Ok so I have seen many mantis selling sites, but many of them have either high priced mantids or high priced shipping(~$30). Can anyone recommend a good website to buy from that doesn't have such high shipping prices?

Is there anything in particular you are looking for? Could post a want ad and see what people have to offer.

It never hurts to contact the administrator of the site you are looking at and see if you can ship priority, can't hurt to try, most will.

I think it's worth it to ship them fast and I'm happy to pay it. I mean really, what other kind of pet can you get such enjoy from at such little cost?

If you get to know people on here they will help you out. I have sent quite a few things to people for free if they pay shipping.

The cheapest way of getting a mantis is to go in the grassy fields and find them. It just costs muscle energy for some and maybe a bit of fuel for others not so close to the countryside.

Look in the classifieds. I agree, some places ask outrageous prices for mantids and shipping.
