which beer?

I bought a deep fryer and am looking for the right recipe for beer batter. I see recipes for beer but they dont say which one is best. Any suggestions are welcome.

Use your favorite beer. If you're not a beer fan you could also just use a beer from the dish's country of origin.

for batter frying I prefer "light" beers as opposed to dark beers (which I prefer for drinking)

I like bud light lime for fish ☺

I tried Samuel adams and it was good! I wanted something from new england so I went with that. Im not a drinker at all so I felt wierd buying a beer! I will stick with sam them.
