I purchased this as a flower mantis at a show recently and didn't ask for the specific species. I have seen several that look similar. Can anyone tell me the species from the photo? Thanks in advance.

This is most likely Creobroter nebulosa. :shifty:

It is a bug.
Seriously though, it may be a bit tricky to differentiate between Creo species. From what I've seen, C. pictipennis have very light pink underwings, while C. gemmatus is smaller and has bright underwings. C. nebulosa is relatively new to culture and is larger than the other Creo species. But then again, color/size variations may occur among individuals of the same species...
