I remember seeing a thread a couple months back about this, but because you can't search three letter words I haven't been able to find it.

My giant shield just molted to adult (yesterday) and I was curious how long the wings take to dry. (because I want to see him fly!)

takes a day or so and why do you want to see him fly and will it be in doors so he cant get away!

haha yeah. I just like to let em' fly - the wild mantis my friend caught is able to so I let him out all the time. It's awesome =0, just gotta remember to turn the ceiling fan off kekekekeke.

Yeah, I let my Mantis religiosa male fly around my room. I do it with my oratoria males too but they seem to be stronger fliers and want to fly internationally. <_<

I like seeing mines fly too. I usually wait a week or more before I let them fly (but it can be less) because I want their wings to really harden up as much as possible.

All I do is take them out to change cage or put with female and poof! there they go, so tire of chasing the boys, thought that was over for me... cougar I ain't! ^_^
