Well, I received a few ooths from a great friend of mine here on the forum and one day last week my mom came over to visit and decided to do some straightening up at my crib. She used my flood lamp which I use when feeding and cleaning and checking on my mantids. however, she had the lamp pointed towards the desk where the mantids and ooths were at the time. Well,needless to say I get home from taking the boys shopping to find the ooths all crispy and what not. Well, I was advised not to throw them away because there was a chance they would still survive. the ooth was so crispy I did not see how they could punch through even if they did survive. Well, last night just before we called it a night we checked on the babies and went to mist the ooths to find NEW BABIES!!!!! My boys were just as excited as I was because I told them there was no way they could have survived but we'd keep the ooths and mist em just to see if the moisture would help. Don't know if it was due to the misting of the ooths or what but we have babies!!! What a cool way to end the holiday!!!
