Some bug living inside the Mantis they put the Mantis in water to drown it , Due to they know this can scare the Bug in side Mantis to come out ( Not trying to Kill the Mantis) Anyways.... Enjoy..... Anyone knwo what Type Mantis is it? Big Good In size. love to have one lol ... but not the Worm in side it lol

It is very nice to see someone take the time to help a mantis survive. Those things must be pretty common, seeing as how they knew it was in there and how to get it out. I hope I never see one of those up close.

 
I had one come out of a wild caught grasshopper I WAS going to feed to a mantis last month. Luckily it decided to burst out of the grasshopper on its own. Afterwards I "tested" all of my mantids and none of them seemed to have the parasitoid inside them.

 
Wow, where are those worms native to? Asia only? Do we have to worry about them around here?

 
Wow! I wonder how the mantis consumed the parasite, I guess it drank water with the larva in it

Pretty scary stuff

Next Halloween I'll show the video to my mantises for a good horror movie!!!! :eek:

 
The mantis looked fine after the worm left, yet the articles on the worm say they always kill the host upon exiting body.
