I like your list. :)

And thanks for bringing this thread back on track vs. turning it into a discussion of the difficulties of raising idolos. ;)

1. Psedocrebotra wahlbergii- Although I have not been successful with mating(I need a male, wink wink). I love their attitude and ferocity. Was my "most wanted" for 2011.

2. Shodromantis viridis- A big and gentle mantis. WATCH OUT FEEDERS!

3. Hmmmmmm. Can I lump all Creobroters together as one?

For 2012....

Orchids

Idolo

?????????????(No "dream mantis" presently. I'm content with my current collection, but always have room for more if something catches my eye)

1. Idolomantis diabolica because it looks amazing when it is adult.

2. giant asian mantis- my giant asian ate around 8-15 fruit flies every day at l3!

3. ghost mantis- IT also ate a lot but not as much as the giant asian. It was my first mantis and so it has got to be one of my favorite mantids.
