Species is native to Mexico, but it appears that it is now established in Hidalgo, TX (and nearby area).

Oh, so you finally found out what these guys are! Cool how they transform from garish, translucent nymphs into earthy, solid colored adults.

 
I just remembered that Janus was a god with two faces... Sort of like how this species takes on two different appearances and how the males and females are colored differently...?

Hmmm....that reminds me. The grey male in the pic was actually brown for the first few days, but gradually changed into dark, grey color. I wonder if this is where the name came from.
