Anyone ever have blood drawn by their mantis?

I haven't yet, but I'm sort of waiting for it. My female giant shield seems to be mistaking my fingers for prey quite a bit lately when I'm turning her lid over for feedings.

 
Oh I think we've all been bitten by the mantid bug;) Maybe not literally, though last night I came close. One of my guys got all his legs stuck in his molt, so I attempting to rescue it. After he fell onto my hand and he must have panicked cause he latched on for a few seconds. He's not even an inch long so no pain, but I can imagine a bigger mantid could cause some damage if it was feeling aggressive. The only time Ive seen a mantis act aggressively to me was the day before it laid its first ooth it would spaz and do threat poses at me if I came near.
