This is my awesome girl :)  I’m really in awe of her colors. She was pure white until I decided to add lots of pink and purple flowers to her habitat!

Oh wow! She's gorgeous. My female used to be that pink, now she has turned a bit more white... really hoping the pink goes back. 

 
Pretty!  Is it confirmed that the environment affects the color like that, or is it just a possibility?

 
It's an interesting experiment anyway!  I have a ghost that turned somewhat green in her last molt and she does have a fake plant that is lime green and pink in there.  But that may just be coincidence...  I'm not taking that plant out though. :D

 
How cute!

The color of the environment affects other organisms like fishes so I wouldn't be surprised that it's true for mantids as well!
