I actually do hold/disable the worms before giving them to her, and hang onto them til she has it all under control. It can take awhile but I don't mind taking things at her pace. I do feel awful about her mismolt and how bad she looks and I am honestly contemplating what everyone here is saying...

That's so cool, good eye for finding those!! Pretty lucky you have 2(!) soon your front porch.  :D I had a mantis I took inside late September that had an ootheca in late October and I put it outside and when I checked in it after the snow it was just fine so it should be alright where it is...

LOL ikr I love taking pics of her and giving her different outfits.  :D The second one I made more extreme cuz she just swiveled her head to look at me like "!!!" when I snapped the pic. I'll post more of her soon, as she's just changed her color completely!

Yes me too!! And yeah lol when she saw the worm, she stood WAY up as tall as she could and it looked so funny.  :sweatdrop:  For awhile she and the worm were both drinking from the same water droplet too, practically bumping heads lol~

Nemo, who had a mismolt last night is now eating again! This time I've gotten some "super worms" and she seems to enjoy it (after some cajoling lol).  :D She holds it against her nubby arm and I help with some tweezers if it seems to be getting away from her. In the pic, she's on top of her...

Thank you for those threads! I think I'll wait a few days and see how she's faring with her wings like that.. If she's having trouble, I'll cut just a tiny bit to start with. The pics I posted here look a lot worse than she really is though tbh. She's crawling all over me and drinking water...
