alls i did to catch my fruitflys was to put a few cherries in the bottom of a gatorade bottle and let them rot and now there are flys everywhere

if an ooth is scraped off of a surface, will it harm the eggs? Because when I got mine, i cut around the ooth and now theres wood stuck to the bottom. I was just asking if this mattered or not.

ya i wished i used hot glue...i tried to use the super glue and every time it dried, it just fell off ): so i just took some copper wire and tied the ends off to sticks

oh and could i add a dab of super glue to sticks and put the oothecaes on them?

im pretty sure there european mantids..and no i dont have any pics yte, camera needs charged

Well my last mantis died some time ago and i just kind of forgot about the website... well this morning i found 5 ooths that were laid on a log by a creek. i cut around around them with my pocket knife and im keeping them in a 5 gallon tub....now just to wait till spring :D

fun. i have a few myself, as pets that is, and there fun to watch take down there prey.

anyways how do you know this aint no hoax? :D
