Use somebodies cellphone and snap a pic. There's a lot of sharp folks around here that love a good mantis guessing game.

I'm just a newbie too! I guess temps can depend on the species. Where did you catch them? In the shade, in the sun? Take this into account when providing their accommodations.

p.s.. Welcome to the forum. To elaborate.. Sometimes the mantis won't eat before and after a molt. I think after they hang there for a bit while they harden up. Some of them do it for longer than others from what I can tell.

Sounds normal from what I can tell with my mantids.

Dohhh! My male acromantis can fly very good but I keep him in the apartment! Better hang on to the females! Trade them off. No releasing those exotics. ;)
