    ultrasonic humidifiers

I use both; the warm mist humidifier in the winter and the cool mist ultrasonic in the summer. I don't have a mantis yet, but the ultrasonic hasn't appeared to bother our snake, geckos or crickets and we have been using it for 2 summers now in the critter room.

    feeder roaches ?

I hope I'm not allergic the mantids, guess we will find out soon. When my allergist tested me this past year he tested me for crickets and roaches because he knew I had geckos. I haven't been around a roach yet, so don't know what type of reaction (if any) I might have; but I do have surgical...

    feeder roaches ?

Got it.....become one with the flies and leave the roaches/crickets to the calcium sniffing geckos hunters of the world. Don't want to become one of the shut-ins who's disfigured and can't write anymore. Thanks for the clarification and Happy New Year. It starting to feel like 'year of the fly...

    feeder roaches ?

We currently keep crickets for our geckos and was thinking about doing a roach colony since geckos seem to  them. (I'm allergic to roaches, so precaution will be taken on where/how they are housed.) Will also be doing culture of FF/flies for the mantises I do get here in the near future...

    Starving Gecko

He's probably dehydrated also, you could give him a sauna for 10-15 minutes once or twice a day for at least a week. Regarding food; You can also try smashed up banana or even add a little bit of honey to the banana and see if ge will eat. If you have any butterworns, you can try those as well.

    Rhacodactylus auriculatus

Thanks! What's funny is that Vesper didn't look anything like that until she was around 15 grams and then it was like overnight that her color changed. This coming year will be her first breeding season so we are extremely excited to see what her little ones look like. Vesper @ 8 grams
