    Egg color differences?

Hi! I have 2 female creobroter pictipennis that have laid 2 eggs each, and 1 more female expected to start laying this week. One of the females laid a white, cream colored egg. I'm fairly confident all my females have been mated with a male successfully, and these eggs are fertile. Is this of...

    Ooth characterstics

Hi, my creobroter apicalis egg has some weird markings. It's relative clear in some areas, like the first picture and it's a dark brown see through caramel color. In addition, there's some slight cracking in the underside (in the pictures it's facing up), where the creos will come through...

    Fruit fly lifespan?

I have an egg case that will hatch in two weeks. I plan to order hydei fruit flies and have them arrive in 4 days. Should I grab a producing culture or one that's 2-6 days old? I want to feed about 20-25 nymphs when it hatches! Which one should I pick? Help please!

    what flower mantids are communal?

I had orchid mantises- no problems at all! I also had creobroter pictipennis and had no problems with those either! Orchids are a safer bet, but I always separate past sub adult!

    Orchids communal?

I raised 3 nymphs to sub-adult without any problems. Keep them well fed, and the container large, and you'll be good!

    EXTREMELY URGENT HELP PLEASE

I have a orchid mantis (/3/l4), inside a 32oz container with the cofee filter material lid... I put it outside in the sun for a good 5 minutes or so and it's about 83 degress, when i come back, the mantis is on the floor. It's still alive but not responding very well, it's got no usage of it's...

What do i feed it now?

Hi! I have two sub adult creo pictipennis that are hungry! It's raining, so I can't go get flies (blue bottle/house) like I usually do. I'm straying away from actually culturing and raising them (too much time and effort where I am). So is there anything somewhat clean (hopefully flightless) I...

    Good Day - Bad News

That's really great. Great job, dude! Many props. What a shame that they're such vivacious predators yet helpless victims to this type of care. Kudos.
