Epping (the suburb I live in) Has the HIGHEST population of mantis in Australia! I find around 3 mantises every time I look for them!

Hello everyone, Today I found an adult female false garden mantis withe weird  black spots on her abdomen. Does anyone know what they are and if they are harmful or not?

The problem is that I can’t get the ooth to hang on the top or side and it would be much easier just to keep it at the bottom

so will it hatch like this ? (the gills facing the top of the ‘incubator’)

this is the same specie as nuggets laying an ootheca the exact same way it layed mine (again, not my mantis)

what about like this? (not my ooth but looks exactly the same tho) It was layed on the side of my enclosure facing horizontly

i decided to take it of today instead. since it has has only been 2 days, can i keep it in a different position to when it was layed?

Ok thank u! For the species I have (pseudomantis ) Apparently Their ooths remain relatively soft and spongy so I will try rubbing the back!

Hello everyone! Nuggets my female mantis payed an ootheca yesterday. I will let it dry for 2 more days before removing it but how to I take it off? 

ur cat eye and orchid is beautiful 😍 Planning on breeding them?

Hello everyone ! i recently found a female orthodera sp and i was wondering how i can attract males. I currently have her in a mesh cage outside however i dont think she is old enough to pheromone call. But i am not sure what pheromone calling looks like and i cant seem to find a pic so maybe...
