When I had a decent sized isopod culture I would throw in coffee grounds about every week sometimes more then that, of course tea is different but as long as it does not contain anything toxic to them it should be fine.
I wonder if inbreeding patho (don't need a male to produce offspring) speices doesn't hurt the gene pool for example iris can produce offspring without male, but males exist mabye if a female mates with a male and has ooths hatch if her young inbred would they be as effected?
@Kermit can't wait to see what you find, if you are down by pena blaca lake and find any S.hero's I'll take them off your hands :) right at the moment unicorn mantis season seems to be late as tucson has been quite hot and that must have put a delay on them, as I haven't found much this year
@[email protected] can you find me a male or two, Becuase I have a wild female and I think she is fertile but to make sure I want to mate her again. I'll will PM you. moderaters if it's against the rules to say this on a post then you can remove it
I am pleased to say @CosbyArt and @[email protected] my adult wild cought female laid an ooth, I always see hatched ones around but I never find or see adults. I found a female about a month ago and today she laid the ooth, hopefully she'll lay more
Yeah I plan to mabye keep one or two....mabye three :) lol but since they are fairly common here I would rather send them to people who don't have them or many T's in there state
I do find those, but like you said it might be late. the are awesome trantulas, the females have and awesome color and get pretty big. if I find any I'll PM you but I'll probably find them in summer
