Thats ok honestly. Spray the cage lightly with water and keep him hydrated, also he might be molting soon. Those temperatures are fine, i would not reccomend to get him any hotter than 85. My flower mantises had mixed moods (scared and skiddish, calm, still, etc) all sounds fine.

Well my order didnt come in today. he decided to ship on a holiday week. Which he said he wouldnt. Its being held to friday, im pretty upset.

sweet, once hes an adult he'll fly to your hand instead of jumping. Ive heard its easier to to handle a nymph over a table.

What kind of lid do you have? Screen or cloth? Metal screen can damage a mantises foot.

Try hot gluing mesh to the side of the cup or scratch the sides of the container so he can grip onto something.

Try to keep the culture in a cabinet? Or maybe there’s mites in the culture? I’m honestly not sure but that’s the first thing on my mind.

That’s fine. It should be able to live in there for a few molts and find plenty of food. I keep about 5 fruit flys in the cup and they actually stay alive for a while until some start to disappear. I wonder why ?

I had a great time with double shields. Really cool species.
