Weird Ghost Ooth! Laid Deroplatys Style!!

Should i be worried? ghost scab??

I have never shared this on the forum but I actually once severely injured a female S. viridis of mine. Her abdomen was essentially cut open a little on the side. I immediately took a small piece of paper towel and used it to clot the wound the same you would stop a cut from bleeding after a...

    Molting Failures in Exo-Terra

Agreeing with Mike here. I actually house quite a few mantids in exo tetras. One of these is the infamous Hierodula majuscula, known for missmolts on this forum it seems. As Mike suggested I have glued many thin branches across the screen lid of the exo terra using a glue gun. It's that simple...

Give it some time seeing...

    So pink!

P.w's can become that colour! There are various studies that have shown Pseudocreobotra wahlbergii nymphs raised on red-pink coloured flowering plants began to attain phenotypical colours similar to their environment with each passing moult. Here are a few photos to share (I didn't take them :)...

    Cryptics Mating

Mine never hatched either. Did your Bleph? At this point I would still incubate them but there is a good chance they won't hatch. I cut mine open and it was completely dried up and brown (dud).

    First tarantula

I'm an experienced tarantula enthusiast/breeder. If you can take a ventral photo of your specimen focusing on the booklung area I should be able to identify the gender for you if you like.
