I work nights and take my breaks outside. I see all kinds of strange insects flying or crawling around the lights at 2am and this book has helped me quickly ID all of them. I really love it.

Its normaly not a good idea to keep any animal that lives in a glass or plastic enclosure in direct sunlight be it a fish, mantis, turtle, etc. Its just like being trapped inside a car sitting in the sun on a hot day. It doesnt take long for the sun to heat the insides of anything thats closed up.

I honestly dont know enough on the subject to post any thoughts on if this is an early adult or what not but I can tell you that you do have one cute LITTLE bugger on your hands! *pinches its little mantis face* :P

I found this awesome book the other day and just had to pick it up. Its the National Wildlife Federation Field Guide To Insects And Spiders Of North America. The big green mantis on its waterproof cover really caught my eye but what made me buy it was the crazy volume of photos and info inside...

I know what ya mean man. Sometimes it can just be hard to word things and not sound like an a-hole but Ive always believed its better to be honest than to tip-toe around the truth and someone (or in the case something) get hurt in the end because of it. Sometime the true can just hurt. Anyway...
