Hey! That's a neat idea! I may have to use that.. +1 to you my friend lol! Always keep in mind that mantis prefer Height, over floor space, so turning one sideways might benefit them :)  Either way its perfect, good job!

Try using white vinegar and let it dry completely before adding anything back in. Just a random thought :)  its not the easiest method but that stuff has so many solutions. Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear about your new Brunners! As azblue said, you should really try hand feeding the mantis some kind of food. You can take a piece of raw chicken (as small as the mantis head) and just touch the mantis mouth.. they generally will dig in after that. You can also try honey even though...
