    Ootheca above my porch

Update: Alright I got the ooth down. It took off a good chunk of my ceiling. How should I go from here? Should I glue it to a surface and flip it upside down again like I found it?

    Ootheca above my porch

I noticed this above my porch today Is it possibly a ootheca? It's about the size of a usb drive. If it is, is it possible to determine what type of mantis laid it? I'm guessing the lines mean that it already hatched? :/

Therefore I am trying to recycle what I can from my...

    Keeping your mantids in zoos?

Or a job opportunity! Or at least access to handle the mantids as a volunteer/consultant/tank maintainer; it definitely puts your foot in the door. Goodluck with everything! This is all in light if the matter of you only sharing information and not mantids..I agree with Patrick

    Keeping your mantids in zoos?

How did they find out about your mantids? I don't see the harm in going to meet with him to discuss the matter since they are running a public educative business. If they ask you questions that are out of the ordinary or seem questionable you can always choose not to answer! From what I have...

Need some general help with my first steps

I dont know if I'm ready for an entire ootheca haha. Are creos an easy starter species? Im guessing all the ones you listed are somewhat communal? Do you know to what extent they'd be communal? Say I were to always keep food in there with them and made sure there were a lot of branches for the...
