no they don't it's just her. i'll try the peroxide thanks. I am a little worried though today her wound is brown/black. I'm really hoping that its more like a scab formed there but i think it's probably the infection still spreading.

She'll be missed, she was a family favorite, everyone loved her and we were all really excited to see her adult form. it's a sad loss. 

BBFs for a long time then i switched to mealworms which she's been eating for a couple months. Is it normal for idolo's to take that long to get to adult?

well i think she's dead she's starting to darken, no head movement anymore or upperbody legs move a little and abdomen. dark black liquid on her butt. before she would move her arms if i touched her and could sill look around a little.

had her in a glass aqaurium tank with nylon mesh top, and i glued nonslip mat to the walls for her. cocofiber on the bottom. and has a heatpad. I used a cheap hygrometer so i really dunno if it was accurate, should have got a better one. But usually around 85 degrees F and moisture could...

eh i'd rather not, shes in bad condition but there isn't anything abnormal to see, she'll just look dead. I have her out of her enclosure not sure what i can do for her, but shes just laying down she isn't moving much, she looks like shes breathing heavily with her abdomen moving.

I Recently got some ghost mantis nymphs from stacywhite75, very good communication and quick shipping. There were some shipping issues caused by USPS and she was very concerned for the mantis's well being, great breeder I would recommend!

no they don't have that weevil snout, that first pic was a little weird i can see how it looks like it does, i think that one was missing 1 antenna and was cleaning a foot or something when i took the pic. but they have small pin heads with 2 antenae. They are porbably a fly they dont seem to...

i tried using chopsticks in a similar fashion but they molded and the mantis's didn't really use them. That water cup idea seems pretty good think i'll try it when i go on vacation.

ok the pics seem decent. Also they can fly, they fly really slow.

i doubt i can take a pic, i only have a cellphone for pics and i usually cant even get it to focus enough to get a good pic of a baby mantis. these are about the size of a melogaster and black would probably look like a black line if i take a pic. i'll give it a shot though, if it doesnt work...

had an idolmantis molt during shipping recently. Most of the time during shipping the packages wont really be moving, sitting in a truck or on plane there's a lot of down time for a safe molt.
