    Kenya Flower Mantis?

I have recently gotten a beautiful Kenya Flower Mantis sub-adult female and am in love with the species. I'm just wondering why they are so uncommon because from what I've seen they aren't very common and I've only seen them for sale once. I really want to breed them and get more in the hobby...

    Infections from Meal Worms?

I got some mealworms and I'm wondering how common mantis infections caused by feeding mealworms are, and how can I tell if my mealworms are healthy and won't harm the mantises.

    Strange Spots On Orchid Abdomen

This isn't mine, but I am personally interested to see what happened to the mantis. According to the person she was fed 2 wild-caught flies recently which is my best guess of what caused this, but I'm still unsure. I really hope one of you experts can figure out what caused this because nobody...

    UPDATE: Mysterious Mantis Poisoning?

For those who don't know a week or two ago, I gave 2 of my mantises, a giant Asian and an orchid mantis new enclosures. I checked in on them and noticed how both were constantly cleaning themselves and acting irregularly. I took the orchid mantis out and saw this... I quickly removed them...

Please Help!! Does anyone know why my orchid mantises leg looks like this? Both of her back legs look like this.

By the way, she is acting normal, but she did reject food for the first time since I've had her. Update: She isn't using those 2 legs and has eaten off part of her antennas.

    Salutations From the Golden State

I have been on mantis forum for a while now, but I never actually introduced myself. I am Colin Giacomo. I'm only 13 and live in Orange County, California. I've been keeping mantises for a little more than a year now and have kept quiet a few mantises. Right now I have an Orchid, a mystery...

Emergency Please Help: Orchid mantis starting to have black spots inside the abdomen.

I've seen others post about this condition and from what I've seen it always ends in a fatality. Has anyone figured out what this condition is and any ways I can save her? I am freaking out and the only thing I can think of is honey and to try and keep her very hydrated. Luckily she is in the...

Any Recommendations on how to lower Humidity and Temperature

The average humidity and temperature of my area are 50%-60% and 70F-90F. I was wondering how I could keep a glass terrarium at about 30%-40% and a temperature of about 65F-70F.

    Strange Huge Abdomin

So I overfed my Giant Asian once and I decided to let him not eat for a couple of days, but he never got skinnier. Even after molting his abdomen is still huge. Why is it so big and what can I do? Is it possibly a parasite?
