They do have large-ish holes, but they're really good for stick insects and larger mantids, i think if you decide to make your own, you're best using a mosquito type netting, with reallly fine holes

i also posted on bn, my male S.lineola bubbles past over today (shock) and the sad thing is i didnt even get a female to mate with him, poor fella :( i have placed him in the position i would like him to be at, and still looks as good as ever :(
