    Orcon Ootheca? Viable? What species?

Thank you I'm excited!! Can they live in California or should I rear them all as pets? (Sell/Trade). I strung them up in a hatching container yesterday & added wet paper towel for humidity along with misting them. Wish me good luck!

No orange spot just a big circular lime green spot instead. The oothecas for IO also look bigger then hers does. It looks like all of 10 mantids could hatch from it. Picture looks similar indeed though you guys have good eyes. What does this mean? Is it still io? pix of underside soon!

The Leg: Is indeed missing. I found her outside near end of November. I was wondering ###### she was doing out in the freezing so I took her in thinking she was a freak undeveloped mantis and had a molt left. Guess not. Still might be a freak though... She was missing her main stabby and her...

Tried the mating thing for my Rosies...

My red knee is a digger and a burrower, and all the rose hairs i've had were neurotic, kept strange habits, and were never boring :)

    Another Mystery Mantid

All my adults had passed on, and I was lonely for Mantids anyway. One day I walk by and I see her laying an ootheca. She was still tiny and her Ootheca...

    I have an ooth!

It was one of the coolest things I have ever seen. I laid & watched start to finish... somewhat out of curiosity & somewhat out of worry cause she was in a weird position.. she ended up laying a sort of um... strange ootheca as she picked a weird spot to lay it... but she probably picked...
