Thanks to all for the comments and compliments, I really appreciate it.

 Nice job;) ....I'm glad to see this specie is really taking off! And they arent hungry, they just hatched and probably won't be hungry for another day...

All the best,

Andrew
Thanks dude! They just started eating 2 nights ago.

give them mels first, but give them a good day and a half to dry out, mist twice a day and move them out of the small cup as they will wear theirselfs out in there.
Thanks for the reply. They're chowing down on mels as we speak haha. I've got them seperated into 4 32oz cups with about 13-14 in each one; they seem to be doing ok in there.

Holy ######. What do I have to do to get a few of those.....
Send me money haha.

Way to go Brian! I knew you could do it. ;)
Haha thanks dude, couldn't have done it though without your super-studly male.

Are you selling any?

That's a ton of nymphs! Congrats!
Thanks! I'll be selling the majority of them and keeping a few to hopefully start the cycle over again. I'm not sure how many or when I'll be letting them go but I'd certainly like a few to go to forum members in the hopes of having more of a population going. I was also considering trades with other members here for males of the same size in the hopes of establishing a better gene pool as that seems to be one of the many supposed reasons for failures. Maybe I'm wrong? I know most mantids can be inbred for a few generations but with the reputation orchids have I'd rather be safe than sorry. Anyway, if anyone likes this idea PM me and maybe we can work something out when the time comes. I have to figure out how I'm gonna ship these things as well as I've never shipped anything live before; heck I've only shipped packages like once or twice haha. Maybe someone can help me here too.

Since so many people are getting these, I hope they go down in cost soon. The first person to sell these between $8-10 gets my business.
Maybe you should just buy your mantis at Walmart, they'll have these for you nice and cheap right next to the everything is free Isle! If you ever bred anything worth while you would understand better? Hey I know, if anyone will sell me gasoline for a dollar a gallon I'll fill up at your pump?!?!
I like this response to the quote above it haha. Just cause I'm a sarcastic guy as well. But really, that's just not a price I can let them go for. I paid $50 each for the original group of four, then another $25 for Nick's male. I'd like to at least break even if that's alright with you haha? Again, not trying to be a jerk, but that's just too low of a price.

$15 is relatively cheap compared to what I paid for my hymenopus a couple months ago ($60 per nymph)...
Exactly.

Congrats!!! I hope you keep some for yourself!

Well they turned out to be awesome nymphs!
Thanks a lot! Will definitely be keeping a few for myself to start the journey all over again haha.
