Hello all I am so thrilled and wanted to share. I have bred my first gongylus gonglodes/ Walking Violins! I bought an ootheca last November of 08 it hatched in December and I had 10 little nymphs! I ended up with 7 females and 3 males. I kept the females and males in different parts of the house once they became adults then after they were adults for about a month I put the 3 males in with the females. I only saw one mating and I took a pink marker and labled that female on one of the lobes on her leg. Then I put her in her own net cage so I would know which oothecae were hers. The first fertile ooth just hatched 27 nymphs! I am very thrilled I was able to breed this species. I wish I had photos but I don't right now.
