Will kritter keepers work for adult mantids?
Like mini for the 1 inch and small for budwings? Medium for double shields?

With some modifications they will work fine.
For example the large slit ventilation holes are best covered with mesh, as mantids feet and even legs have been known to been caught and break in those (and feeders can escape from those too). I'd recommend using a mesh material on the entire lid for more walking/hanging/molting surfaces. Then just cut a slit around the small opening flap in the lid, for feeding access.
