chinese ooths (fridge time)

well i have four chinese ooths, do they "need" fridge time? and if so how long two are older than the rest if they do need fridgetime is it to late to put them in?

they don't need it. if you don't have food for them or you want to release hatchlings and it's cold you can put them in the fridge for a few months or so. also, put them in at about anytime before they hatch, I have had no issues with that.

 
THey do not need a cold period. If you leave them out they should hatch in 6-8 weeks or so.

 
No, but it is still a good idea to refrigerate them until spring, you may end up with 500 nymphs a ootheca if you live in a area where you can release them(like America or China). Otherwise they dont need it.
