Hi,

I have been looking in on getting a creobroter pictipennis or creobroter gemmatus once Artemis dies, but I have two questions regarding the two species of creos:

1. Is there a size difference?

2. How many molts do they take?

Any answers are appreciated!

The reach about 2 inches and take about 7-8 molts. I would go with c. gemmatus because they are usually cheaper.

c. gemmatus are fun, easy, and breed prolifically

the males molt 6 times and females molt 7

i kept them for 3 years and they are one of my favorites

highly recommended species, don't require a whole ton of care, just flying food, heat, and space, they thrive!

i think C.pictipennis is slightly larger than gemmatus, C.gemmatus is pretty small
