DIY Enclosure Question

Hi everyone,

I'm making some DIY praying mantis enclosures out of plexiglass right now. I'm thinking about keeping live plants in the enclosures as well, which is why I have multiple air flow holes which are 3/16" diameter. Are adult praying mantises able to escape out of holes that big? I can use some mesh and silicone to cover the holes up, except it would look nicer without it!

Don't forget about your feeders. I'd say screen them over.

Oh hmm.. forgot about those. Don't want to live with flies crawling around us >.> I'll screen the sides for now and see how it goes. Need to find some clear/white ish screen material. Black looks horrible on plexiglass.
