Hey guys. didn't even realize my boxers were subadult. They're so small its hard to tell. But today I went to mist everybody and Balrog had molted to adult overnight! :D . I got some pictures before the camera died. Will take some more later but I wanted to upload them now.

Another good story is my Wahlbergii male seems to be changing colour :D . I put a purple flower in his enclosure a couple weeks ago and he has molted since. Didn't notice that he had changed colour at that point so maybe he's changing as he goes. He's not entirely purple like we've seen in some pictures but as you can see in my pictures below (sorry for some out of focus-ness) his eyes and raptorials are changing to purple :) . Lets see what the future holds for him.

Last picture is a nice shot of one of my majusculas eating a mealworm. They're pretty skittish, won't take any food unless I'm not looking. Very pretty colours on them though.

Congratulations on your first adult boxer! I remember how excited I was. All 11 that hatched for me are still alive. I've had no cannibalism (yet) or mismolts. Ten are adults. They mate over and over. I finally have my first ooth.

Your wahlbergii might be more purple after the next molt... But I'll be interested to see what it looks like as an adult. Mine all seem to look about the same once they are adults.

Guys that is a male. Look at the last segment. Look the antenna length. Count the segments. They all point to male not female.

you can see the difference clearly in this pic.

If it is not to much trouble can you get a shot of the underside of the abdomen?

Judging by the flatness and length I maintain male. It is so hard to tell with small species so I could be wrong.
