So I picked up another egyptian mio mantis on the weekend, brought him home, and the first thing he did in his new enclosure was race to the bottom and own a cricket. , tear apart and chow down.
Anyways, I named him godfrey and he is very pretty and active in comparison to clover.
Now I got clover about 3 weeks ago, and for the first week, she refused to eat. I noticed by the second week, two crickets had dissapeared, her abdomen was fuller and a few legs were scattered. I assumed she had finally ate them.
She molted on the weekend, ( beautifully ) and hasn't eaten anything since. her abdomen is very thin and frail, whereas Godfreys is nice and plump.
She is less active, more pale, and I've never seen her hunt. I've seen Godfrey take down 3 crickets and I've only had him for 2 days.
Is something wrong with clover?
