Getting them from Shopko?

I saw some carnivorous plant starter packs for sale at Shopko. Do you think you guys think they would live? I would obviously give them a better encloser than what they come in, but would it even be worth it? Would they be DOA, do you think?

Sure, those plants are usually fine when provided the right care.

Just make sure you don't get ones that look like they're already toast.

When you bring them home, though, make sure to completely flush the pots with clean, purified water.

Most of those stores don't know not to use tap water....

Even better, get them completely new, clean media....which is actually part of the fun, anyway!
