what is harder to manage a ooth or a nymph?

I seem to have the worst luck with ooths but nymphs seem easier to manage and care for!

id defently say nymphs.

you have to do all this separating and buy so much food.

with ooths you mist them every 2 days or so.

Is a Nymph something like a ooth?

A cluster of eggs?

Thought that a Nymph was a young mantis

Is Ooth the same thing as a Ootheca?

You're pretty close. An ooth, short for ootheca, is a cluster of eggs wrapped up in protein insulation. The eggs hatch as nymphs, and that's the name given to all baby (immature) mantids until they undergo their last molt and become adults, ready to fertilize and lay more ooths!

This is a no-brainer topic

Well, massaman, sometimes the best way to obtain an answer is by simply experiencing something for yourself. Try raising an ooth and a nymph for a month, and see for yourself which is harder to raise. With a little experience under your belt, maybe you can start contributing to topics instead of starting them ;) Report back with your findings mate
