Hey Mantidforum, 

I actually purchased a mantis from here in 2012 and haven't logged in since. I want to get back into the game.

Turns out to post a wanted ad I have to introduce myself so here goes:

I'm a 25 year old dude who works in tech and lives in Portland, OR. I have been intrigued by insects all my life and have been highly intrigued by mantises since I first encountered them exploring wetlands by my childhood home.

Other hobbies include Basketball, Jui Jitsu, Golf, Rock Climbing.

Looking forward to getting some mantises. I want to get back into it with some ghosts, then move up to orchids, and idolomantis Diabolica has been a longstanding goal of mine, who knows, maybe I'll make that happen in 2017.

Hopefully this suffices.

Yes, the rule is in place to help prevent members from simply using the forum for nothing more than a free insect ebay/Craigslist/whatever. Such places already exist on the Facebook groups anyway. The simple rule has helped to cull out spammers, mass sellers, and the alike - strangely enough.
