hey, ive never posted a photo yet here. this is one of my bigger mantis out of the group. its iris oratoria as the title says. can anyone tell me how many times this mantis will shed and grow. ive never kept mantis before this.

Cool, I have some of these going too! I think mine are older than yours but it's hard to tell without a reference size.

 
That's pretty big. Mine are only 1 inch long and they're probably 5th or 6th instar. I don't see wingbuds on your mantis though. Umm, but I don't see them on mine either.

 
Hi. My male is L7, which is sub-adult. I can see the wing buds overlapping. My females are also L7, but I'm not sure if they are pre-sub-adult, or sub-adult. As sometimes, females have one more molt than a male. Good luck dude. I also have a few more younger ones (L3-L6). I don't measure mine, But I could if you need me to.
